And if I did, is that really the way to handle it? This is after all a family setting, not a public computer with loads of users. It seems that in WinXP the unlock data is in Documents and SettingsusernameApplication DataAbletonLive 4.1.4Unlock folder, not in ...All Users... like I think it should. Or can I just copy the unlock.cfg file over to the other accounts?

Now it seems that the Live unlocking is user-specific: I have unlocked Live with my own account, but running Live on another account demands entering the serial number and unlocking before you can fully use it.
